Position Description: The nursing office will work as part of a team of professionals and medical staff. Specific responsibilities will include:
Assessing and planning nursing care requirements
Providing pre- and post-operation/procedure care
Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
Taking patient samples and vital signs
Maintaining patient records
Supervising junior staff
Engaging in health promotion activities including counseling patients/clients on various health topics
Organizing workloads
Providing psychological support to patients and relatives
Advise management on innovative and cost-effective nursing/healthcare strategies
Other tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate must be a good team player with great social and interpersonal skills, and be very flexible with work schedule. Also the ideal candidate should be able to work well under pressure, with little or no supervision and be able to demonstrate initiative, innovation and ownership. Requirements The following are requirements for this position and should be addressed in the cover letter:
Must have a BsC in nursing or be a registered nurse
Must have at least 2 years’ experience
Current and valid nursing council license
Must be able to work with a computer
Additional trainings (with evidence of certificates) are an advantage
